Seeking a dynamic Purchasing Manager to drive our procurement strategy! You'll source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services while balancing operational requirements, cost, quality, and delivery standards. In this role, you maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor market trends, and ensure that procurement is aligned with the company's goals and budget.

Responsibilities
  • Procurement and sourcing:
    • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiation and contracting:
    • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value.
    • Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
  • Supplier management:
    • Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers.
    • Regular on-site visits and audits of key suppliers.
  • Inventory and cost control:
    • Optimize procurement costs through strategic sourcing and efficient purchasing and work hand in hand with supply chain managers to monitor inventory levels.
  • Compliance and documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal departments (e.g., production, project management, logistics, and quality assurance) to meet operational needs.
    • Coordinate with finance and department head for budget alignment and payment processes.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
