HOLOGATE is looking for an experienced and responsible Workshop Manager (m/f/d) to lead and organize our technical workshop. In this key role, you will ensure efficient processes, high quality standards, and optimal resource utilization. You will lead a technical team, coordinate repairs, maintenance, and production processes, and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our VR and XR systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the workshop and provide technical leadership to the team
- Organize and monitor repair, maintenance, and assembly work
- Ensure structured and efficient workshop operations
- Plan and manage material and spare parts inventory
- Conduct quality controls and document work results and technical processes
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production guidelines
- Analyze technical issues and develop sustainable solutions
- Collaborate with other departments such as Development, Production, Purchasing, and Support
- Continuously optimize workshop processes and infrastructure
Key Qualifications
- Completed technical training, eg, as a Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a workshop, production, or service environment
- Initial or extensive leadership experience in a technical setting
- Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and high quality awareness
- Technical expertise in mechanics, electronics, and ideally control systems
- Confident use of common IT applications (MS Office; ERP systems are a plus)
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Good German and English language skills
