As a (Senior) Fullstack Software Developer (f/d/m) you develop our Java- and JavaScript-based applications – from backend logic and software architecture through APIs and databases to the user interface. Your focus lies on backend development and a sustainable software architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and extending our Java-based platform and web applications, with a focus on backend logic and software architecture
  • Designing, building and further developing REST APIs and interfaces to internal and external applications
  • Working with relational databases and developing our data models and database access further
  • Building and sustainably developing our frontend applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Refactoring and modernising existing applications and software components using modern technologies and frameworks
  • Analysing and resolving defects, including debugging and performance analysis, in close exchange with our QA team

Key Qualifications

  • You have completed a degree in computer science or a comparable field of study with a focus on software development, or you have an equivalent qualification.
  • You have excellent knowledge of Java and sound experience in object-oriented software development as well as with clean code, design patterns and software architecture.
  • You have a good understanding of usability and UX and can translate user interface requirements into working solutions together with others.
  • You enjoy working in an agile team and coordinate closely with your colleagues in development and QA.
  • AI topics interest you and you would like to help shape AI-supported features and development processes.
  • You communicate confidently in German and English.
