We are seeking an experienced R&D Software Developer to join our innovative R&D team at HOLOGATE. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing novel software solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible.

Responsibilities

Develop software requirements from customer requirement and/or system requirement - Update and upgrade software and examine operations of R&S equipment
Derive requirements for interfaces between software components from system and software architecture
Implement unit tests and automated regressions tests to ensure software quality
Participate in design and code reviews
Perform build, release and install duties to deploy the software
Proactively define requirements with customers and internal partners
Analyze and incorporate change requests into the software requirements
Continuous improvement in software requirement engineering process

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in VR/AR or game development
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as C++, C#, or Unreal Engine
Familiarity with VR-specific technologies, such as Unity, Unreal Engine, or OpenVR
Experience with real-time graphics programming, 3D mathematics, and shader development
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Passion for VR technology and a drive to push the boundaries of what is possible
German fluent
